Precision. Softness. Perfection.

At Posed & Pretty, we treat excessive underarm sweating (hyperhidrosis) by using neurotoxins to temporarily block the chemical signals that stimulate sweat glands. This treatment is highly effective for those who find that clinical-strength antiperspirants are insufficient for controlling moisture and odor.

  • Sweat Gland Deactivation

We target the eccrine sweat glands located just beneath the skin's surface. By injecting neurotoxin into the underarm area, we interrupt the signal from the nerves that tells these glands to produce sweat. This results in a significant reduction—and often a complete halt—of moisture in the treated area.

  • Precision Mapping

Every individual’s sweat pattern is different. We focus the treatment on the specific areas of the axilla (underarm) where sweat production is highest. This ensures total coverage and a consistent result across the entire underarm surface.

  • Long-Term Moisture Control

Unlike daily topicals, this treatment provides a deep, internal solution to hyperhidrosis. By physically "turning off" the overactive glands, we provide a reliable, maintenance-free solution that allows you to remain dry and comfortable regardless of stress levels or temperature.

how we treat:

underarm sweating

What to Expect:

Process

The treatment involves a series of small, shallow injections distributed evenly across the underarm area. The process takes approximately 15–20 minutes. Most clients find the procedure very tolerable, but we offer topical numbing cream to ensure your comfort.

Downtime

There is no downtime. You can return to your normal routine immediately, though we recommend avoiding heavy exercise or deodorant use for the first 12–24 hours to allow the injection sites to heal.

Results

You will notice a significant decrease in sweating within 2–4 days, with full dryness usually achieved by the 2-week mark. Most clients report a 80–90% reduction in moisture.

Longevity

Underarm treatments tend to last longer than facial treatments, typically providing dryness for 6–12 months. When you notice moisture beginning to return, a maintenance session is recommended to stay dry year-round.
